The Croatian design team Grupa, composed of Filip Despot, Ivana Pavic and Tihana Taraba, was formed in 2006. Known for their early work, the solid wood furniture line called BASIC for Bosnian-based Artisan was chosen to receive the EDIDA Young Designers Award in 2009. In addition to their furniture designs, Grupa also excels with its event design work, having been seen so far in venues from art exhibitions to the fashion shows.

We’re pleased to carry Grupa’s fabulous 3angle and Monk collections for Prostoria.

3angle Seating Collection

Created in cooperation with Kvadra, Grupa’s 3angle seating collection is inspired by the crystal form, fragmented shapes to please the eye and hug the body. Created with a sturdy combination of high resilience foam, renewable wood, high quality steel covered in a fantastic choice of beautiful fabrics, these chic and stylish pieces gather a following wherever they’re seen.

Perfectly proportioned for today’s small space living, the 3angle Sofa brings to mind the iconic little black dress of the fashion world.

Meticulous detailing is a hallmark of the 3angle Collection

Chic and stylish in brilliant gold is this 3angle Armchair

The 3angle Armchair is lovely from any point of view.

This turquoise hue is a spectacular option for today’s jewel tone interiors.

Here’s a fabulous piece to complete the perfect 3angle room vignette--the enchanting 3angle Tabouret. This backless stool can be paired beautifully with the collection’s sofa or chair. It’s also a great piece that stands on its own when merged into an existing room setting.

Monk Chair and Side Table

In either of its two forms, chair or armchair, the Monk is a graceful design with gently curved seat that swoops up to cradle the body. Appealingly retro and exceedingly comfortable, these chairs are gaining admiration wherever they reside. The companion side table is a versatile and functional piece with a beautifully graceful shape.
