QUAD is the square-shaped member of the Pod family, envisioned by renowned Japanese designer Jin Kuramoto. With its bold cubic geometry softened by rounded edges and a fully upholstered cylindrical silhouette, QUAD transforms the square into a tactile, sculptural seating element that invites interaction.
Its voluminous form plays with light and material, creating subtle highlights and shadows that shift with the room’s atmosphere. Whether used alone as a statement piece or grouped in modular configurations, QUAD anchors lobbies, lounges, and open-plan interiors with a minimalist yet expressive presence.
Crafted with a durable wood core wrapped in cold-molded HR foam, and supported by height-adjustable feet that lift it just off the ground, QUAD offers both visual lightness and enduring comfort.

For most NUANS seating, Customer’s Own Material (COM) and Customer’s Own Leather (COL) are accepted. Refer to the ‘specs’ tab or our product booklets for detailed yardage information.
All COM/COL materials should be shipped directly to the NUANS Warehouse for processing.
Jin Kuramoto Jin Kuramoto is a Japanese designer who established JIN KURAMOTO STUDIO INC. in 2008. Born and raised on a small island in the countryside, he loves fishing and people a lot. He designs all kinds of products such as furniture, home appliances, eyeware, and automobiles with the belief that the form of things each tell a different story. He values the process of repeat trial and error, touching materials, listening to their voice, prototyping in a studio full of inspiration, and making positive accidents. His work has won a lot of international awards, including the Red Dot Award, Good Design award, and the iF Product Design Award.

Refund Policy
Order cancellation:
Orders cancelled after 24 hours may be subject to a minimum 20% or maximum 40% cancellation and restocking fee in addition to any shipping charges incurred.
Returns:
When accompanied by the original receipt, in original condition and in the original packaging, merchandise purchased through 212Concept can be exchanged or returned for full refund within 14 days of delivery. Large size items such as sofas, sectionals, sideboards, shelves or lounge chairs cannot be returned due to the risk of damage during the transit. Every exchange or return must be pre-authorized by emailing us at returns@212concept.com.
Those returns which are received and have not pre-authorized will be subject to 25% restocking fee. Non-stock items, special orders, and polycarbonate items are not returnable. Refunds are not issued except in the case of defective merchandise we are unable to replace. Returns should be properly packed and sent at the customer's expense, to:

The actual cost of shipping item(s) to you will not be credited or refunded. Store credit is valid for one year from date of issue. Thereafter, unused credit is forfeited. Claims for defective or damaged items must be filed within 14 days of delivery.
