Tall, sleek and uber chic, the Pera Barstool X and counter stool X by B&T Design is anything but all form and function. With its brilliant chrome steel X base, comfy leg support and generously proportioned seat, this stool is perfect for those long talks around the kitchen counter or occasional bar. The seat and the back are designed and manufactured as a whole, creating a sculptural body, which seems to be carved out of an egg shape. A slender steel wire support structure dramatizes this futuristic approach and allows the users to observe and appreciate the geometry without interference.

Alp Nuhoglu (1965), has completed his academic education in Mimar Sinan University, at the department of Industrial Products Designing. By 1988 he has found the furniture design firm DOR. Alp has been working at B&T from 2000, as one of the designers and as the design director.
