Paheko derives its name from the Maori language, meaning ‘combination.’ It embodies essential yet unadorned volumes, offering subtle allusions to familiar shapes, etched in our memories as archetypes of vases, columns, and capitals. These objects remain almost undefined in their use, granting them the freedom to suggest different purposes, reinterpreted with each context.
Place a book on it next to a bed, and it transforms into a nightstand. Add a cocktail by a pool, and it becomes an outdoor table. Inside the house or in a bathroom, it serves as a stool, while in a restaurant or café, it functions as a bag holder. Its shape adapts, melding seamlessly with its surroundings. The harmonious volumes of Paheko defy passing trends, fusing neoclassical 1980s style with the minimalistic design of the 21st century.
Paheko’s adjustable design allows it to be overturned, offering a fresh perspective, while the joint ring, available in five colors, enables up to thirty unique combinations. Crafted from white or black polypropylene, it’s both lightweight and incredibly robust, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use in a myriad of ways. In fact, in just about any way that imagination or necessity might suggest.
